When you use Microsoft Outlook as an email client, it is an effective way to keep the business managed. If you have now installed the Outlook program and want to configure a new email account in the Outlook, you can add one or multiple email address to the Outlook mailbox by using the Auto Account Setup wizard. For configuring the email account on desktop-based Outlook email program, follow the below steps:

Step 1 – Click on the Windows Start menu and input the ‘Outlook’ text into the search box. Click the ‘Microsoft Outlook 2010’ icon in the ‘Programs’ section to open the email client.
Step 2 – Click the ‘Next’ button the ‘Startup’ box that displays if you’ve not yet used the Outlook program. Click the ‘Yes’ button once prompted if you wish to add the account. Click the ‘Next’ button.
Step 3 – Click the ‘File’ tab, followed by the ‘Add Account’ button in the ‘Account Information’ section if Outlook appears without showing the ‘Startup’ screen.
Step 4 – Input the name as you want it to display to receivers. Type the complete email address along with the domain name into the box like ‘firstname.lastname@example.org.’ Enter the password into the ‘Password’ and ‘Retype Password’ boxes. Click the ‘Next’ button.
Step 5 – Click the ‘Install Now’ button if you’re trying to add an Outlook.com or Windows Live or Hotmail account and are asked to install the Outlook Connector tools.
Step 6 – Click the ‘Run’ button and put a checkmark next to the ‘Click Here to Accept the Microsoft Software License Terms’ box. Click the ‘Continue’ button and choose the ‘Cancel’ option to close the window once the connector tool is installed.
Step 7 – Restart Outlook program and resume the configuration process. Click the ‘Finish’ button if Outlook program can configure the account automatically. If not, place a check next to the ‘Manually Configure Server Settings’ box.
Step 8 – Type the server information given by the Internet service provider or the network administrator for your company. Click the ‘Finish’ button once the account is added to a full setup successfully.
If the email service provider restricts the storage, you may wish to use the POP3 protocol, so that the email isn’t saved on the mail server. If you’re using the IMAP protocol, ensure to remove the trash regularly, so you never exceed the storage quota of your email service provider. In the event of any problems during the Outlook program configuration process, you can get the immediate resolution by making a call on the Outlook support number and fix the problems.
